Optiver's challenge
| We want to use good tech to help our traders control more and more complex systems. Focus on aggregating, storing and visualizing huge amounts of data, live. Background: Optiver is a trading firm. We trade on all major financial markets in the world and we trade a wide range of financial instruments, such as stocks, bonds, options, futures, ETFs, FX, etc. Our trading activities are more and more fully automated, but with the increasing automation of trading, we now need to become smarter about how we leverage technology itself to manage our automated trading systems and the large volumes of data that are generated both from internal and external sources. |
