Philips is looking for smart electronic data sharing solutions to manage patient data.

Background:
When taking care of patients in different settings, accessing this patient’s data and sharing it between different medical care professionals is a problem. This can be for example between GP and hospital, sharing data from the home environment or between different hospital settings. Who controls this data? How do different caretakers access it? Can patients easily access their data and possibly add validated home measurements? The solution should allow patients to access their own health data, add to it, and control who has access to it.
