Port of Amsterdam's challenge
| We want to make our asfalt roads smart, using IoT. We aim to simplify current monitoring & analytics, to make a robust system, continuous process and reduce costs. Backgound: The performance of our transport system depends on the performance of infrastructure. This is even more important since we are facing increasing needs for maintenance, induced by an ageing infrastructure and to be carried out under tighter budgetary constraints in a complex environment and facing high traffic intensity. A robust system can increase the availability, safety and effectiveness of the entire transport system. Life-cycle analysis, remote and predictive maintenance and a systems approach should be considered. We organise this Launchpad Meetup together with BAM. |
